The various stories and articles written by Doris are shown below: follow the links for the original manuscript, its transcription, publication submission correspondence and final published form if available.  The identified details of the publication are listed. Where Doris's original cuttings of the article from the newspaper or magazine, were available these are shown. Where possible I have tried to locate images (For example in the British Newspaper Archive - all such images are credited to the the appropriate archive and the original source) to show the article in its final published form and context. Though ultimately I intend to replace these with my own photographs as I am able to gain physical access to the original published documents. 

I have tried to organise this bibliography by place of publication. As you would expect the Yorkshire Evening Post where so much of her work was published has a full section to itself! Doris submitted several articles for publication to other magazines and newspapers, and these are presented in the "Other Published" section. There are a number of short articles and letters similar to these that were not published, and these are collected under "Unpublished". Her longer essays, articles and stories, both published and unpublished, are presented in the "Long Form" section.

Doris's only full formally published book "The Doings of David and Peter" is presented separately in its own section.
